Prop Valve Install Question
Gentleman~
I am building a 93 DX EG hatchback up for HPDE use. I am in the process of upgrading the braking system before the motor is dropped in next week. I wanted to see if anyone can point me in the right direction (possible with pictures) as to how to install the new proportioning valve correctly and which lines go where. I have installed the following parts thus far:
1) 98 Integra RS master cylinder (thanks LEN)
2) 98 Integra RS REMAN power brake booster
3) ITR 5 lug swap in the works
4) 98 Integra RS prop valve (this is the problem I have)
There are a total of 6 lines to take off the old one and to attach to the new Integra valve. 4 coming in on the left (looking from front of car to back) and two coming from the right. We re-bent some of the lines carefully and hooked up this Integra prop valve and then thought to ourselves whether or not we should of turned it upside down if that made a difference at all with the direction the brake fluid should flow. I can take pictures if you don't understand what i am talking about.
Can anyone shed any light to this before we go ahead and tigthen down the lines and let her rip once the engine is swapped?
I searched through dozens of posts and couldn't find sufficient information.
Thanks fellas,
Mike

no arrows. trust me on that one or else we would of known what to do. i am going to give Len @ Baranco Acura a call to verify what prop valve he sent me so i know it's the correct 40/40 i need.
Part# 46210S04951
This part is what I bought from Len @ Baranco Acura up in Atlanta. Supposedly it is for a 98 Integra RS non ABS obviously brand new. We got the lines to match up as mentioned previously but whether or not the actual valve itself should be flipped upside down it seems like we could hook it up that way also. Would there be a difference?
