Default ITR shift linkage Q?

OK, I posted this is the Integra forum and no one seems to know so maybe I'll have better luck in here. Let me know what you guys think!!

My brother has a DA that he swapped in the shift linkage and shifter from a ITR in to with a Skunk2 shift **** and Poly bushing and I must say its much nicer than my Skunk2 shifter/****/poly bushing set-up in my DA. Feels 10x better and also doesnt rattle against the heat shield like mine does!! I was also looking into doing this ITR linkage/shifter mod now but I had some questions about the ITR stuff first.

My first one is, is the shift linkage between a reguluar DC2 and ITR any different or are they the same thing?? My bro's is like zinc plated or something, but besides that is there any difference between the DC2 linkage and the ITR linkage??

And my second question is, is there any difference in the stock GSR shifter and the ITR shifter??? My bro has the suspicion that the ITR shifter and the GSR are shifter are the same piece, just the ITR is polished.

So if anyone knows the answer to those 2 questions let me know. I really want to do this mod but dont wanna have to spend alot more on ITR stuff if the reguluar DC2 linkage and GSR shifter will work just as well as the ITR shifter/linkage. Always lookin' to save a buck or two.

From my knowledge, ALL DC2 shift linkages are the same with the exception that some are ZINC plated/polished.

I believe the GSR and ITR shifter ARE different. Could have sworn the GSR has a double bend.

I think I may have an entire GSR shift linkeage available. Ill check over the weekend.

According to http://www.acuraoemparts.com, the part number for the shift levers are different with the ITR being cheaper.

ITR = 54101-ST7-Z00
GSR = 54101-ST7-000

I installed A C's shifter on my SI and need to use an ITR shift linkage. The ITR shift linkage was nice and beefy compared to the one on my EM1..

The only difference is that the stabilizer bar is a bit beefier.

Thanks guys. I was able to find a JDM ITR shift linkage and shifter for a decent price so I picked it up. Prolly cost a little more than the GSR would of locally but oh well. The ITR stuff will be so much more pretty.

So next time I run over a squirrel the last thing it will see is my blingin' ITR shift linkage.
