Default need help with drag car stuff

looking for some help in a setup that will produce lo 9's.
now motor stuff I am not worried about its chassis and little stuff that I am worried about.

I need help with a air to water intercooler setup

suspension set up and slick sizing,

also tranny questions I know that the h22 tranny will not even come close to holding up but what about a xtrac or hardcore b-series tranny.

kinda on a budget but want to do it right the first time and not have to keep redoing stuff

Thanks for all your time and information

you cant put xtrac and budget in the same sentence. You will need about 850+whp and 26:+ slicks.

What class are you trying to run in/are you looking to run in some racing series? Look at the rule book for the class and build the car around its restrictions.

Any class where you can run the X-trac you're going to need better than low 9-second times. I'd be surprised if someone doesn't hit that in Turbo Street this year.

not really looking into a class just want to build a fast fun drag car and then when the money is there to be competitive I will jump into that

bump, maybe this explenation will help I am just trying to assemble a set up that would be possible to run low times, the long block will be a h22, the tranny will be a b series and the chassis is a 1992 civic hatch that is what I have so far. kinda need to hear what kinda specs and other stuff along those lines

well by budget I mean under 60,000 but more in the range of 30-40k not saying I am going to half *** it, i want everything safe as possible and then go fast as hell. but I just want to go a route that I can make sure it is all right. starting off laskey racing will be getting the motor. I will be piecing together a turbo kit with a gt42r and tuninig with hondata until more money comes in for aem ems. will be putting a full chromoly 10pt cage with parachute. still want to retain as many stock panals as possible. no fiberglass or lexan. will only cut the bumper for intercooler. fenders will be cut to clear slicks. also fuel tank will be removed for a 5qt that will be in the engine bay. I just want a clean mean fast track car, that is consistant, cause I love to bracket race for some reason.

buy my car in sig... save time and money. just a plug.

but honestly depends what series your running. NOPI, NHRA you can't compete its gonna be tough. but if your out to have fun you can run low 9's reliably with less than 800 hp.

spfwd drive cars are makin in the range of 550-700 hp run high-mid nines no wheelie bars and at least 2400 lbs.

def attainable. I believe some weight changes will help this year with weight reductions to level off the field but hard to run against big budget teams, no matter how light you can get.
