Are there any 2"+ lowering springs that can be used with stock shocks?
I really want to get a true coilover suspension set (adjustable springs+shocks) but
I'm on a budget and would like to know if anybody knows of any 2+ inch lowering
springs that can be used with the stock shocks with no problems. I'm tempted to
go with the 2.25" lowering springs w/ stock suspension but I'm gonna have to
sacrifice ride quality and the stock shocks will eventually go bad. I just want
something decent until I can afford real coilovers. The closest to 2" I can get right
now are Netami lowering springs that lower the car to 1.75 w/o loss of ride quality
and they can be used with stock shocks or so they advertise it to be. Now I want
to know if there are any 2" lowering springs that can be used with the stock
shocks. Sorry for the long post. If anyone can help or provide any suggestions it
would be much appreciated.
Oh this is for a 4th gen lude.

stock shocks are for stock springs and that's the last time I'll tell you that. They will blow even if you lower it an inch. Buy real struts now! There's no time to waste! Seriously though the stock struts are not made to operate at that height or valved for those spring rates.

Neuspeed sports lower it by 1.5 inches races 2.25 inches and that guy might have had the springs on the car for a year and the oil may not have actually come out of the struts yet but it doesn't mean they weren't already damaged. oil leakage only signifies your a fucktard and waited waaaaaay too long to replace them. Just buy struts and do it all at once.
Pardon my ignorance but I'm looking at adjustable KYB AGX struts and shocks for a decent price, how is the ride height adjusted with the aftermarket springs? In the case that I get springs that lowered to 2.25" to go along with these struts would this be the maximum I can go to?
Also, does anybody know the best bang for the buck coilover or shocks/struts set?

your best bet is GC's and Konis or Tein SS, but since your on a budget Id say buy one save up and buy the next, you dont wanna go cheap on your car suspension, but if you do remember you generally get what you pay for.

I used to have Neuspeed race on stock shocks on my Integra for like 5 years and they never blew. And my car felt helluva a lot stiffer w/no noticeable bounce than my current 5th gen Prelude w/Eibach Pro Kit w/Tokico adjustables.
But I'm sure since that even the 4th gen is considerably heavier than my Integra was, it would be a better idea getting shocks too. But I say no big deal. Get it when u can afford it.

Ill sell them im looking for a 1 inch drop but very hard to find. Not really wantin to pay 300 when most drops that are more than 1 inch are way cheaper...

From my experience (I'm currently on Pro Kits) don't get them. They're so soft that they're very boingy/bouncy. Even my friend w/a '02 Civic w/stock shocks is very bouncy. Even w/the Tokico's they're not very planted. I'm planning on getting a new setup soon.
