the car is supposed to do that. it gets the oil going again after the car has been sitting and also helps the car to"wake up." gets all parts lubed and **** and your car will always idle higher when its cold
Welllll mine did that for a while, and i thought it was normal... but i recently got it retuned, and it no longer does that...
Does it rev up and down while its warming up? or just stay at abour 3k?
i'd check for vacumn leaks, i think my problem lied in my IACV...

it revs up and down and after 15 seconds it just stays at one idle when normaling warms up and drops.. i just recently put a motor in.. with my old ls.. it never did this

Agreed, check your IM for leaks. I had the same problem on my accord, ended up selling it before it was fixed, but I heard from another accord owner that the problem was vac leaks.
