Default Clutch issues....need help searched already

Well today me and a friend spent all day putting a clutch and pressure plate in my friends GSR-T.. Well the removal went smothly but the install was a nightmare. We got it all buttoned up, he test drove it and he says that its extremely slower than it used to be he bought an STX stage 1 off ebay. But my question is why is it slower is it cuz of the 500mile break in. or we just idiots and fucked something up. please let me know i have a huge headache and im afraid it will get worse.

You have to give it time to break in. Otherwise, the clutch isn't going to grab like it should. And don't go on an interstate and drive 500 miles...make sure you're running around town. follow the break in period.
