is there a special nut you need for the shift boot to hug the **** like that?

 

To get the shift boot to stay up like that i used some electrical tape and raped it around the shift rod. You just have to make a ball with the tape in one area and just force the plastic ring over it. this took me about several tries before i got it where i wanted it, but i love the look.
