i got my first teg in dec of 2004. it had 166,000 miles on with two bad rear calipers, one bad cv axle, and tons of electrical problems. after fixing a that i wanted to start building a new motor for it.. then i bought a bare block from a friend a local junkyard...

i got it cleaned and bored just enough to remove scratches and suface rust...(date is wrong in pic)

then i started to fill it with all the goods... eagle crank, eagle rods, wiseco low comp forged pistons, and all new nuts and bolts.
then i got a b16 head from velocity trends, had it ported and polished, new guides, skunk2 valves, springs and retainers...i oppted for some GSR cams for a 100 bucks

then skunk2 cam gears, intake manifold, and 68 mm thottle body (i had manifold bored on thottle body opening

all my carbon is real... it might look RICER now but i plan to paint the car soon...

the fenders are not covers they have fiberglass backs, made buy areogear...
i also plan on getting a carbon hatch, then paint the engine bay, front bumper, and whole top half of car black...

i have a new windshield and new inner fenders, but ill wait till i get it painted to use those parts.

its all stock in it now

i have 4 bedrooms and no garage!!! this my garage



so what do you think about the teg i got here...? i'll post pics of my other two soon a 90rs and a 93 ls

I remember this car from another thread, did you make two? Anyway, good looking car, I'd be more interested when you get the paint all matched. Sounds like a good project anyway! I wish I had that much money to dump into my teggy

edit: just read ur post about the fenders, i'll have to check them out, cuz i find it interesting that they're red to match your car. and nooo im not talkin ish cuz im jelous.. just confused i guess

but none the less, im glad to see another DA owner take pride in building one up. i really like your engine and from the sounds of the low compression, future boost? have you thought if you're building a kit or getting a pre-fabbed kit?
