Default ricer wing on a jdm teg

Well ok i have a 95 gsr, and I really like jdm style where its all clean and classy, my car is halfway there with rota slips and itr sides, I was thinling of taking the wing off but ive always liked the look of a big wing, like a nice and clean carbon fiber functional wing, like jgtc style. if anyones seen the ings carbon wing, like that, what do you guys think? and yes im going to take it to the track so its not just a street car.

I dont want to be ricer at all, Im talking race car style, not molded fiberglass **** or double decker aluminum crap.(wish I knew how to do pics)

pics are easy, first host the pic somewhere (photobucket, or, we todd did racing) then use the [IMG][/IMG] tags, place the url between them and bam you have a pic. You can not load pics from you computer.

You don't need the wing for the track, learn to drive first.

If you don't want to be a ricer, then leave the stock wing, or run no wing at all.

"Race car style" is functional, not style for styles sake. A gsr shouldn't really need additional rear downforce without some form of additional front downforce, on the track or especially on the street. So, "race car style" would be no wing at all.

Then again, I've only had mine up to 120 mph on the track, so its possible faster speeds could want some more rear downforce, but I can't imagine it. Not without some kind of front splitter or something else to help keep the front planted though. Though, the rake I currently have on my car could be providing some rear downforce as is...

to SLH356: i know I dont need a wing for the track, thats not the point, its more about the look, downforce is just a slight advantage for when im at the track.

thanks for the input guys, do you think it would be dangerous to have it on at high speed(110+) with just a lip on the front?

i know its kinda ricer but that would be my ONLY ricer part so I think im ok.
