I always thought that 4-2-1 is better for 1/4 and 4-1 is for high end.

the 421 generates more mid and low range power 41 generates high rpm power.

I have experience with both and I say the 4-2-1 is better for 1/4 mile. I know some think different but I guess it all depends on the setup.
