trying to relocate main relay, why are there doubles of some wires?
So ive been going through my share of main relays and im pretty sure its because im getting water in them some how. I cant find the leak so instead im trying to just relocate the main relay to a dry spot. My manual says theres 7 wires going into it however when i went to extend the wires i found theres 2 grounds, 2 wires to the ECU and 2 to the ignition making a total of 10 wires. Why do these three have doubles and can i just extend them with the same wire or should i get three more wires to keep it how it is?
car is a 95 cx.
car is a 95 cx.
You can extend them with a single wire. There are two because it goes to more then one location somewhere else in the car.
The blue white for example is a power wire, that tells the car is switched on I belive so it sends power to the relay and to the ecu.

thanks, i think i am gonna just get extra wire and extend all 10 wires. No need to get lazy when it comes to wiring.
