Default 99-00 SI power locks too weak to lock? And, remote locking standard on SI?

I have 2 questions:

1: I have just installed power locks into my car. The locks and wiring and the whole deal came from a '00 Civic SI. My problem though is that when I hit unlock it works fine, unlocks both doors; however when I hit lock it will only lock the driver's door. The passenger door will try to lock, but just doesn't quite get there.

Any ideas? Anyone with similar problem.

2: Did all '99-'00 Civic SIs come with the remote lock? Imagine I owned an actual SI and had lost the remote for the lock, can I simply buy a replacement from honda? Anyone know what kind of info they will need for this replacement or how to program a replacement once I get it.

If it helps at all you can just assume that my car is a '00 civic SI because I have taken everything, including ALL wiring from the fuel pump forward and put it into my car. That includes the dash, behind the dash and everything in the engine bay.

Please help, I want my power locks to work and as a bonus I would like a remote lock if its possible.

I say check it over again make sure theres nothing blocking it from locking. I'm not sure if honda would just give you the remote lock though.. what if you were a theif or something.

Thanks all for your fast replies.

I will check into that solenoid see if its all good.
Anyone know of any good way to test this solenoid?

And I guess I shall call my local honda see if they can get my any cheaper than $40, if not, online I shall go.
