no no no. the IAC is going to be fine. the holes in the manifold at tapped. im going to run some pipe ouf of them an connect it to the iacv(with hose). theres a plate on the valve it self for the hoses.
just relocated it.
just relocated it.
well why didnt you say so.
What type of relocation kit is it ? Is the IACV actually mounted to the fire wall or somewhere else in the engine bay? or is it just going to hang out on top of the nitrous lines ?

have fun running the lines. properly setting up a DP system is more of a pain then anything.

due to the placement of the nozzles it was a PITA getting the jets in and out, hooking up the hoses, making sure everything was tight etc. The hard lines were 1 - too long and hit the firewall.
2 - vibrations from the car shook the solenoids too much and they bored out the holes in the butterfly plate
3 - vibrating solenoids damaged the intake mani top half.
make sure you Secure the solenoids firmly. I HIGHLY suggest using steel braided lines for both ease of use and manipulation of placement etc.
Good luck and happy spraying.

how did those nitrous nozzles work. wouldnt that kit the firewall? i mounted mine form the front, i had to shave down the bottom part of the bracket. but what i did by mistake was shave it too much an made a small hole. but after looking where i shaved it down it seems like it blocked off. if you look at this picture.

see in the middle theres a triangle. well i shaved the small hole there. you think it will cause a problem? I looked all inside and it seems to be dead ends on both sides. i check the vac lines on the out side but it doesnt connect t to those spots. just those traiangle connect an that it. then the gasket covers them from the manifold. think i should be ok? worse comes to worse, is plug the hole.
Well here are some picture of the motor almost back together:

Now a few questions for you guys. when you remove your motor how many extra parts did u have. hehehe. it seems i have some bracket that need to go, but i dont know where they go. any help

Some of those parts could have gone with the timmming tensioner. but since it got converted to h23 i dont need them. but the guy who did it just threw everything in one box, so im not sure. it ight go back on, or might not. they dont look to important. but who knows.

see there the red circle is. i shaved to much off on the outside an made a small hole. but by lookin at kit. it seems all it does is connect to the bluse circles an thats it.
