I personally dont recommend the change over from auto-manual. I say sell and next time do yourself a favor a buy a manual.

I'm not %100 sure but I'd say a auto to manual swap will be in the range of $1,500 if you have someone do it for you.

Well I used to have a 92' Prelude Si..auto. I wanted it to be a 'stick' so bad I went and got an estimate from a good trusted shop. They quoted at least 1500 for labor not including parts, which parts can get expensive especially when it comes to the tranny...flywheel, pressure plate, clutches, and all that other junk. Me and the mechanics both agreed it was not worth the time, money, and hassle so I sold it then got a 92 DA9(TEG) that was 5 spd for 2 g's. Your money though, you decide. I wouldn't if I were you, that's all i'm saying.

The reason his installation was cheap was because he got a fairly good deal on a trans, and then got away with murder having his friend do it for only $200. Take it to a shop and they'll take it out of your ***.

Do it if you have a friend who will swap for you for cheap. I was like you trying to make my auto a stick because I had a somewhat clean EK Sedan but then I realized it would be too much of a hassle. I sold it and got a stick.
