I post this in the appearance forum because that's what aluminum wings are for. They offer no performance gain. Well at least not on FWD cars. I'm tired of driving around seeing other Hondas with them. Then getting to school only to be made fun of because i like Hondas, and because other people put on those tacky things.

And when i said they offer no performance gain, they don't. They will actually slow you down, because of the downforce being applied to the rear wheels when it's your front pulling. What this is doing is just causing drag on your rear end.

So please if you are one who has a gt, aluminum, drag wing. TAKE THAT **** OFF!

On a sidenote, aluminum wings are used on FWD race cars also. Not the gigantic, triple decker ones, but still. They can be used for stability, etc.

what did you expect? Majority of ricers are honda owners. Plus you live in Pomona; when I'm in that area, I get reved on all day.

Half the stuff people put on their cars done offer any performance gain. Some people actually think those wings look good. Let them have their fun. Its not your car. If you dont like being made fun of at school, and your self esteem is getting crushed, go buy yourself a mustang.

i did also find more FWD cars with big wings, some things do have a purpose in life, your's is to suck i guess

Your're lost, stability is from downforce cause thats all a wing gives.

The wing does function, but most of the wings you see on the market are made for "looks"

Is it your fault that people try to make their car look like a fake track car? I've seen fake track cars from Ricers and JDM ricers.

fake ricer track car:
body kits which was made for aero dynamic function; ricers made it into "looks"
fire extinguisher is made for a function; ricers put it on their car for "looks"

fake jdm rice track cars:
tow hooks are for function; ricers made it for "looks"
CF is for weight reduction; ricers made it for looks

I can go on all day.
