hey out there, i just bought a brand new starter for my 95 cx hatch and it wont crank or nothing. i get no noise, i can push start the car but its a pain. i had to buy the a new one b/c, i was chilling in a parking lot and i had the car turnned of and, when i went to start the car nothing happened. i ended up towing the car back to my place. anyway i NEED HELP PLEASE?!?!?

 

make sure you have a good ground
make sure you have power going to it

if you think it's a bad starter, hook it up directly to the battery and see if it jumps out/spins...if it does, then your wiring might be bad, and you will need to trace it

Is the large wire from the batt to the starter hooked up? How about the small starter signal wire?

It's very possible, I can't remember if or where the starter signal fuse is. Just start pokin around I'm sure you'll come across something.
