I have a red 96 EK hatch

color code on the door jam:

R-97-4

i can't find a duplicolor equivilent. any help guys? I need to do some minor touch ups.

Closest they have is Milano Red.

re-check and see the color code again.

I only recall that honda came in R-81 (milano red) and R-94 (san marino red).

 

yeah i double checked and it is

R-97-4 (i could take a picture, but that would be excessive )

i don't know what color it is exactly, but I guess I'll go with Milano Red. Even the duplicolor site doesnt list my color code. —strange.

if anyone else has a thought I won't get to do anything until this weekend so I have some time.

 

Actually its Roma Red (R97). Try the honda dealership to see if they have it and if not, you might have to buy it online.

I found a site that has the touch up paint for almost any color:

but i don't think its the areasol can, but its better than nothing.

 

It's Rallye Red. Milano Red is too dark. I found it available for the scratch pen but not the spray can. if it's a big job, just buy the scratch pen and take it to a paint store to have it color scanned and put in an aerosol can
