I searched but couldn't find any definate answers. Is there anyone who has actually put a jdm gauge cluster in their lhd 4th gen? Does it fit with no modification or do you have to change out the housing? Thanks in advance.

 

i would think that the housing would be changed just beacuse of the dash board curvature (spelling?)

 

i actually think it fits right in....i will take a better look next time i see one....

JDM cluster will not fit not only because of being asymetrical as RHD version is mirrored copy of LHD one. All the brackets are different (it means reversed).

 

so then in turn, could you take a jdm cluster and usdm cluster, swap housings, and it should work? ive been wondering this same question for some time and its whats warded me away from installing the cluster i bought

 

Probably yes for non EL version, no for EL.

In EL version even the place where the plugs are are different for LHD and RHD version, so the housing would not fit.

 

yeah its backwards. you have to swap housings.
