Default In need of H23 TB

I am in the process of getting together all the parts I will need to do an H23 head swap on my 1990 Accord and have come down to only the TB remaining. I can't seem to find an OEM one at all and all of the aftermarket ones are going for at least $200. If anyone has a TB for an H23a (I honestly don't know if it makes a difference if it's VTEC or not but it's a non-VTEC head) OEM or aftermarket that they don't need or know of somewhere that sells them cheap, please let me know or just post a reply to this. I'm a full time college student so this is somewhat of a budget project. Thanks everyone.

I honestly don't know if I need the cold start or not because I don't know what it is. I live in Oregon so it doesn't get too cold here, but like I said I really don't know. I'd love to hear back from you though, because I am VERY MUCH interested in doing that. I know that the TB are the same size (60mm) but other than that I honestly don't know what the differences are. Any info would be greatly appreciated. If it will work out and I don't need anything other than that TB plate then I'll paypal you the money as soon as I get paid. That goes to any other people out there with an H23 TB as well. Thanks.

Its complete, just missing the throttle rotor ( Not the throttle plate, thats still all there.

As far as the cold start underneath your stock throttle body, if you have one is there a valve body looking piece with 2 water ports coming out of it.

As fas as NO cold start it will have the throttle body with 2 water ports but no valve body on it.

The one i have is for a H22a which is the same and will work on your car. I was just checking to make sure but im sure this ones the same. Let me know if your still interested.

I would absolutely love to do that. Just to be safe I would like it if you could either email me or post up pics. I need the COMPLETE TB though, not just the portion that the throttle cable hooks up to. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. But yes, I still need the TB and I am very much interested in that for 60$ shipped. Email: Hooman87@hotmail.com with pics if you wouldn't mind. Much appreciated. God I love this site The HT community rocks.

so you need the complete intake manifold? i'm confused what you mean by, "not just the part the throttle cable hooks to". i'll go snap some pics and email them to you in a minute, stay on line for a few.

edit: here's some pics. i have the whole intake manifold if you need something else, but if you just meant the complete throttle body, that's fine, i'll seperate it. i've got a complete h23 (snapped a rod and blew out the block) if you need anything else.

I just need the complete TB, not the intake mani. Some people "advertise" the intake TB as just the front portion with the plate/rotor in it. I need the portion that says the PGM-FI as well, aka the complete TB. I need a dizzy for my H23 project if you still have that laying around though. I unfortunately just bought an intake mani so I don't need it as of now but that's assuming that there is no damage to the one I just bought. But all I need is that complete TB unbolted from the IM. I wish that I had found you before I started buying things, I could have just bought the whole head from you

na man, the throttle body is just part on the very end that has the tps sensor, throttle linkage, vacuum nipples etc. as you can see, there's 4 bolts that hold the tb to the intake manifold and a gasket in between the 2. the part you're referring too that says 'pgmfi' is the upper intake manifold in this case. h22/h23/b18c1/and some or all f series (not too familiar with the f series) have 2 part im's b/c of the iab's (secondary butterflies). either way, what you're saying you need is the tb and upper intake manifold. at any rate, so you don't need anything any more, or you're saying you just need the tb now? the price i said, i was referring to just the tb anyways, not the tb and upper intake manifold. do you have a pic of what you actually have so i can see what you need?

So in other words, I do need that upper intake manifold and the throttle body. Thanks for the info btw, I hate to sound like an idiot when I call things the wrong thing. haha.

$70 shipped sounds great to me. I'm completely game for that. As far as payment goes, I would prefer to do it Paypal if you have an account, it's the easiest and "safest" way to do things if you ask me. As far as cwood1388, I'm not sure what else it is that you may think that I need but feel free to throw it out there. therealPROJEKTEG, I look forward to an email from you to work out the finer details. I'm pretty sure I'm all set now. The only thing that I really have left that I need is a dizzy (internal coil since that's what my car is already wired for) which means that I'm going to need the H22 dizzy, head gasket set to rebuild the head a bit, and then the timing belt and tensioner belt. If you have any of that stuff I would be happy to take it off your hands.
