Is there an easy way to do this? I remember it being a bitch to get out and now i cant get it back in. I need to do it for CHP inspection.

Take out the glovebox. Insert airbag and bolt in.
Is there something you're worried about?

i think it attaches to the airbag outline on the dash if i remember? making it a bitch to take out, putting back in i would assume it will be much harder...
i would have the dealership put it in... or a shop.... my luck it would pop in my face. why cant it be as easy as the steering wheel.

Yeah, it was just snaps though, so if you get it in place bolted in, you should be able to push the dash back in place.
(Never put one back in, but just took out my airbag and replaced the cover back in the dash)

I removed and installed one. It was easier to put it in than take it out. You should be able to just drop it in a little. Then when you bolt it down it will suck the airbag into the dash.

agreed...ive taken out and put in numerous passenger airbags, they go in much easier then they come out.
