Default MUGEN or CUSTOM MADE EXHAUAST?

searched already and found a few things... but i just wanted peoples opinion and all..

i have a 97 SH and i'm deciding on either getting a MUGEN exhaust or a CUSTOM MADE exhaust... which would be better? like which gives more hp gains through the whole rpm range?

if ever i do decide to get a custom made, any sites that would be recommended? i just took a look at KTELLER.COM and couldnt find one for my car? i aint going to turbo it, planning on going N/A...

TIA for the help and opinions...

if you plan on going NA then mugen is the way to go. you wont need any piping greater than 2.5 inches in diameter. Just know that the n/a route is very expensive

yes i do know the consequences of going N/A... but in the end all the work and money spent would be all worth it...

what are you planning to your car in the future? you may need bigger than 2.5" piping.

Do you plan on getting a high quality header (DTR, RMF, SMSP)? If so, I would not get a Mugen exhaust system. I would go with K-Teller or even SMSP who has tubing kits. http://sms-products.com/Exhausts.html

Pm mgags7. He uses a RMF header. Just ask him what exhaust setup he has. You should be able to use K-Teller or SMSP piping.

i actually have an apexi catback still...a gt spec

if i could go back i would have a 3" system....but for most a 2.5 will work great

go with the kteller piping and find a good muffler shop to do the welding for you....

yeah go with the RMF headers, and it would definitely fit with kteller piping....there will have to be a little custom work to get it all to fit up.....we're not talking bolt up stuff
