Default installing dual dins in my 97 accord

I currently have a pioneer deck in my accord, but want to soon install a flip out screen in the din in the bottom. is there any sort of kit to add brakets to secure the second din in or am I going to hack up my dask kit and cut out the cubby hole and fabricate some brackets in?

The space is there to accomodate a Double Din Chassis in the dash w/out modification. The plastic 'cubby' as you call it comes right out.
You just need a Double Din Bracket kit,
A GOOGLE!! search will scare up several sourses, or a Local Auto Audio store should be able to fix you up with one.

I don't understand what your asking..Are you saying you already have an aftermarket install kit from your older none stock head unit?If thats the case your going to need a new one for the dual setup.Really you justneed to take it to a car audio store and show them what you have and then tell them what you want to do.

They will be able to just install it for you.Or if your poor like me they can tell you what kit you need to buy........and remember if you install the kit yourself.
YOU CAN RUIN A GREAT AND EXPENSIVE KIT IN SECONDS IF YOU BREAK OFF THE WRONG TABS.READ THE DIRECTIONS TWICE AND CUT ONCE!!!!

but it's not that hard to do yourself just be carefull and follow the directions.

Here is a pic of what the kit looks like.they only cost about $20.00.
It will replace your cubby hole.
That kit looks like alot of fun to put in if you lived near me I'd do it for free.

Yea thats exactly the kit I need, because the current kit i have has room for my pioneer deck on top and just a slot on the bottom. Where could I find that exact kit, because everything I've seen has a slot on the bottom for cd storage
