Can some tell me how to make my turbo gsr less noisey its to LOUD
Hey everyone i got a GSR turbo with a 3" stainless steel Thermal R&D Catback exhuast. My car is to loud for me so im trying to make it as quit as possibe would should i do. Should put a Resanator on, or a cat, or just my stock muffler. Im try not to loose any power or at least very little can some one give me some advise
I would start with a Catalytic Converter, then a resonator. The cat won't effect power substantially, nor will a resonator. No Cat in CA=$2,500 fine.
put in a resonator and see how that helps out. I would put 2 resonators in before I put a cat in. but I am not in cali.

I had a 4-1 header w/ 2.5 inch custom exhaust all the way back, and honestly, it was rediculously loud. I added a high-flow cat and a resonator, and although it quieted down, I'm thankful for the two 12's in my hatch area.
My suggestion: buy a really nice stereo.

cat+resonator, or at least a resonated test pipe and resonator.

Since you don't know how, you should take it to a performance shop that can do exhaust work.

I agree. Also try driving at low rpms and going into neutral whenever possible. You can save clutch wear and make less noise.
