nitrous vs turbo
alright i cant decide between the 2 all my turbo friends say turbo and all my other friends say nitrous the thing is i only have about 800 to spend so what do you think would be better i would be running 100 shot on a b18c1 what are the pros and cons on eachother and what do you think would do better in the 1/4 mile

Better drop that down to 55-60 at the most. It depends on how much money and time you have.</TD></TR></TABLE>We run 120-150 on stock gs-r/b16 motors all the time without issues. We do take the proper steps though. 8-9 heat range plugs, a few degrees retarded, a fuel pump, slight larger injectors, and an msd box.
But do what you ike partner. Both will give you substantial power increases and will be safe if tuned right.

Your from mother ******* Buckley Washington. Ahaha. I'm from Enumclaw and actually lived in Carbonado for a little while.
On topic. For a turbo system your seriously way way under funded. For a Nitrous system, you can purchase something decent HOWEVER! your engine will not last for **** if you don't install it properly and take preventative measures in insuring that your engine will last as long as possible.
I'm going to take a stab in the dark and your more than welcome in correcting me when I say that you sound a little inexperienced in both of these catagories (Nitrous & Forced Induction) ?
Best thing you can do is start studying and reading. Bug the manufactuers since they are the ones making this stuff.
Then... install your stuff and proceed to the logging show this summer to do big smokey burn outs at all those ******* red necks with mullets.

get a NOS kit, by the time they are at full boost, your already gone...LOL..., i prefer the wet kit because it mixes fuel and nos at the nozzle so you dont have to worry about it, downfall is if you have a backfire where if the flame propagate while the valves are still open while your on the bottle, then say bye bye to your manifold and everything attached to it, dry kit you have to worry about fuel mixing properly and if you have a bad injector or something similar causing your motor to go lean, then say bye bye to the motor too, i havent had a problem with mine yet and ive been through about 20 bottles and the block has about 200,000 miles on it, but thats because i take good care of it, plus you can turn it on and off, only thing is after awhile it gets spendy filling it up. turbo is to much tuning to much hassle, not worth the tiime for a street car. i have an 80 shot wet system, LS V-TEC, stock bottom end, block gaurd, PP GSR head, dual valve springs, titanium retainers, skunk 2 manifold/cam gears, msd ignition, str fuel rail, aem filter, bbk fuel pump, clutchnet clutch, obx fuel pressure regulator, v-tec controller, custom ecu, and some more stuff that i cant remember, all of these parts were bought to run the bottle safe as possible, fuel, spark, and timing is most important aspect of running the bottle, get those right and you shouldnt have a problem. oh yeah just for fun, i ran a 12.84 with a broken rear suspension, 60 ft time with the 80 shot was 2.2, ran a 13.00 with a 50 shot and a 1.7 60 ft before i broke the rear suspension. in a 96 integra....need i say more???
i use to spray got boost now will never go back to spray just sold my zex kit just look around u can fine some good turbo kit for like a G and it all ways there when some try to mess with u just my opin..
u will spend the same for a good nitro or a good turbo kit. I think u will like the turbo more. Also the front mount says a little something; depending on where u live it might say "steal me!!!"

I know where he lives and he doesn't need to worry. Now...if he was driving a decked out CJ5...old Land Rover... or a new F250 all decked out, then theft would definately be an issue.
Regardless...I still think you shouldn't pay attention to what anyone is telling you and research this stuff thoroughly on your own, before the questions are asked.

Back when my car was turbo charged, I had the intercooler anodized black. It looked like a radiator. No one knew the wiser. You can get that professionally done for around $100.00 or less.
I moved. I graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1996. I lived there maybe five years at the most. I live in Hawaii now, though I have a lot of close friends that still live there.
If your into snowboarding, take hwy 410 east for about an hour until you run into the Crystal Mountain parking lot. Washington has gotten about 8 feet of snow in the mountains over the past three weeks. Go there on a week day. Ride chair six all day long.
If you don't want to do Crystal, take 410 out of Buckley go over the bridge (white river) past the first stop light, when you come to the next stop light you should see QFC/Starbucks on your left and Schucks on your right, turn left at that light. Come to a stop sign, go straight, turn left at the next stop sign. Go through one more light (down town Enumclaw) and take a right at the second light. Follow this highway all the way out of Enumclaw, through Black Diamond, Four Corners and into Maple Valley. Merge onto Hwy 18 East. Merge onto I-90 east. This will take you to Snoqualmie Pass (dubbed "The Summit"). They have one of the best super pipes and parks besides Baker and it's only an hour and a half drive from Buckley. You get to ride four mountains for the price of one. Hyack, Ski Acres, Snoqualmie and Alpental.
*edit: Snoqualmie also has one of the largest night skiing operations in North America.
