A/C belt problem

this is for 97 ls. I cant seem to get the ac belt to fit on the pulleys. alternator and ps went on with ease. am i doing somthing wrong? is there somthing i have to do?

nope. got two different kind and brands. anyone know if i have to take the motor mount off?

It goes around the lower mount.....

did you adjust the alternator closer to the block? try using a crowbar to pry it over...

i actually just put all my belts on my motor last nite, theres a tensioner. u have to loosen it.
