Will a JDM Mugen Twin Loop axleback bolt right up to my 01 GSR with an ITR midpipe installed?
hey guys i just found a used Mugen axleback, the seller says its for JDM non itr, but just wondering if it will still be able to bolt right up or not? or would i have to cut the flange and weld on a new one, here are some pix of the axleback

i believe its a jdm Mugen Twin Loop (internal) and not the external one, i believe this one is more rare
and for the axle part and flange i'm working on it, i asked him to get me some pix tnite

first time i've seen it. according to applications the following have interchangable exhausts:
94-01 rs/ls/gs
00-01 gsr
97-01 type r
This applies to USDM, so jdm I am uncertain about. But if the jdm itr exhaust length is the same as the usdm this axleback could bolt right up as we speak.
If you wanna check to see if it's a twin loop just shine a light in it at the exit and see if the piping bends at all. Bend = looped

Its not a twin loop of any kind. Thats just Mugen's older exhaust. (before the twin loop)
Pics of the flange on the axle-back are certainly needed.

ok cool thanks guys, yeah i'm still waiting for pix from the seller, he said that is a really rare mugen exhaust
off topic, i have a spoon n1 on my car right now, you guys think i should change it and go with this?
the only reason i want mugen is because i have a mugen header on my car so just want the match, my second choice would be a HKS hyper exhaust

I'd personally keep the N1, but thats just me. The n1 is larger in diameter and I'm willing to bet it flows quite a bit better than this mugen one, but thats just my personal speculation.
