Default integra tranny problems

i have a 94 integra gsr with a jdm b16 i just bought the car and it had a bad pressure plate so i ordered a act clutch kit and a prolite flywheel. me and a mechanic friend of mine installed it. everything seem to go fine until i tried to back out of the garage and it just made a funny noise and barley moved. before i replaced the clutch it would grind gears in 3,4,5. it would do it while the car was sitting still in 3rd, after i changed the clutch that is gone it shifts into every gear excellent, it just wont move. the noise sounds like metal on metal grinding it goes away when the clutch is in or the car is in nuetral. i used the throw out bearing that came with the kit along with the poilt bearing. ive honestly pulled it apart and put i back together 3 times in 2 days with no luck. act told me to try this site so please someone have some good news

i doesnt seem like it would go together if they werent. it has that halfshaft braket. the driverside one sticks out about a 1/4in but thats iti think i even tried pushing on it and thats where it stopped. i wish i knew what was wrong with it. ive had 3 people tell me they dont think its the trans.

also since the noise goes away in nuetral i shouldnt be the trans right because the input shaft would still spin causeing the noise plus it proably wouldnt move at all.

well i tried 2 discs in it. yeah it had to be on right, i held the old throw out bearing up to the new one and the only difference i could see whas a small groove on the inside ring. we took out the radiator and looked through the clutch release arm opening and the throw out bearing was a 1/4in away from the pressure plate, but that should be a good thing because if it was touching then it would slip right? im gonna go check again but im almost positive it was this way. we even took of the clutch release cylinder and jumped out the starter and the we could feel it slipping with the starter pushing the car, we only did it like twice just to test it.
