97 accord ex engine into a 94 honda accord ex whats needed?
I'm am getting ready to put a 97 accord ex engine into my 94 honda accord ex. Will it be a direct drop into my car. What other things will be needed?
The only way it would be any easier would be if it had zippers.
While you're putting the '97 in, give some thought to putting a new timing belt in it while you've got it out. That way you don't have to worry about it later.

just make sure that you use all of your engin's sensors since 97 are obd2 and 94 are ond1 cars. otherwise drop it right in. while you got it out, i would in addition to the timing belt, due valve adjustment and replace the gasket set while you are at it. Also isnt a bad time to pull the oil pan and inspect the bottom end.
