searching is free and adds 14 HP!

simple mods would be things like nice light rims and good tires.
Intake
speakers
shifter and ****
full tune up never hurts

I agree with the former Ace$nyper I would do a full tune up first and then go from there with intake, header, exhaust.

Don't know about that because lots of ebay headers are trash, I have talked to people who bought them and they wish they never had because they are worse than stock. I would recommend going name-brand or something.

Tune up includes but is not limited to spark plugs, fuel filter, oil/filter change, air filter change (unless you are doing an intake which I highly recommend.)

I would start by doing an ebay intake. I got one for $23 shipped, and it was actually pretty nice. Be sure to get one for 88-91 that has the curve in it to go around the battery. I got one and I can verify that even though it is a very tight fit, it still went in.

Exhaust wouldn't hurt either. I got tired of being loud and put a stock style muffler on to keep the noise down, but I still have 2.5" piping from the cat. It doesn't restrict flow too bad, and whenever I want to I can just put my OBX muffler back on.

My biggest advice: save up for an engine swap. DOHC ZC engines or d16Z6s go from like $525, and they're both around 130HP.

change:
Oil and oil filter (if needed)
Spark plugs and wires (if needed)
Valvecover gasket (if needed)

Check:
Air Filter
Compression on all 4 cylinders
Injectors (fuel injector cleaner never hurts)
Brake Pads front and rear
Windshield wipers
Tire wear on all 4 tires (bald tires are not slicks )
Distributor cap and rotor

Someone chime in if i forgot something important...i'm just naming off random ish.

Then get some of this for instant VTAK YO!

You just have to be carefull with what you order and pick out the right ones..Some products are complete garbage,,and others are of good quality..Just make sure to check the sellers ratings and feedback..

the combination of name (rotary guy?), information (most of your posts are seem intelligent- just illegible), and engrish (well, yeah) continues to baffle me.

fix those and make the car solid first. then worry about changing stuff. nothing sucks more than spending a bunch of money you don't have on a performance mods and then watching it turn into a piece of **** because you don't have the coin to maintain it. trust in others who have made the mistakes before you.

well to replace a clutch would require dropping the transmission, and ive never done anything like that. i have no idea what im doing yet, so i'd rather not mess things up. im not sure when the timing belt was changed, but when i got my car inspected, it was recommended to me
