aight as the title says the drivers side floorboard in my eg is wet and i havent a clue what it is. any suggenstions what it could be and how to get rid of it????
that happend to my homeboys car.. check your door, hood, window for leaks.. i had a diff kind of leak in my car.. it was the seat behind the passenger.. so when one of my homegirls sat on it.. after she stood up.. it looked like she peed on herself.. i had a hole under the trunk.. about 2cm.. it soaked up the seat, from the bottom
If you recently did a swap it is very easy to fu(k up the heater core and that can cause leaks. Soak some of it up with a napkin and see if it smells like coolant (kinda sweet) and if it is a light green color.

I agree. You will know if its antifreeze by smell and the way it feels. I had a master cylinder on my brakes go bad and it caused break fluid to end up on my floorboard. Check that also.

The molding will not cause a leak.
If the only symptom is the water on the floor then my guess would be that a seam on your air box has cracked allowing water to enter into, then the water is dumping onto the floor via the floor vent.

i tested out what the other threads said.. related to this.. i sprayed the car at different angles with a hose.. and its coming from the windshield.. somewhere there.. iono if im lazy.. or just dont know what im doing.. but is this hard to fix?
Do you have a moonroof? Mine leaked into the floorboards(rear) and trunk until I followed a thread and cleared out the drain plugs. That solved the problem
You can remove the cowl cover under the wipers and check there. On both side of the car are areas where the factory filled body seams with some type of sealer. On my 95 hatch the drivers side had cracked an was leaking really bad. The passenger side wasn't leaking but it was starting to crack. I sealed them up with silcone/adhesive. Fixed the problem
Obviously the window is just rolled down. On a serious note, my del Sol loves to surround me with water. Best I can figure it's coming in from the trunk (common problem on del Sols. )
