Default crome tuning p28 ecu question?

ok heres the deal ordered this ecu for a prelude swap with nothing on it but lucas racing 440 injectors... if this is what its set-up for, how long can I run like this until I have to be tuned?
Also will vafc help in this situation? Need to know if this is enough to get the car drivable to drive 2 hrs to dyno?

I'm not following what you are asking. Are you asking if you have a chip made for 440 injectors and did nothing else how long will it last? Thats something no one here can answer for you. Thats going to depend a lot on how far off the base map is. You shouldn't be messing with it at all until its on a wideband unless you have money to replace things when you blow them up.

I don't know who Mtber is, and you can't just give someone your specs and have a chip thats going to be spot on. someone can guess and make you a basemap, but that thing STILL needs to be on a wideband. Period.

Just have some one creat a basemap for you. A basemap is pretty much rich and the ignition is retarded sometimes. Start with a basemap and them tune using the basemap. You cant tune a car without having a basemap to start off with.

no...all he does is give you a base map...good enough to drive lightly to the local tuner...your an idiot if you try to drive on a base map...if anyone tells you a "chiped" ecu will work for your setup he/she is full of ****

if someone tells you the bin was from a tuned car that is similar to yours and will be fine...run...run as fast as you can....he/she is also an idiot

also i wouldnt drive my untuned car for 2 hours straight...if its to lean or rich you will destroy your motor
