cheap power...no such thing.

nitrous is somewhat cheap, for how long is the question.

Maybe a camshaft to go with your cam gear.(BTW that gear is not doing much, especially without tuning)

i vote junkyard turbo setup.

I think you said it already.

Well if you dont want that (F/I) then you could throw in a cam. Wont get that much but if you only want a little more power.

Here's a good way to think about it.

Cheap
Fast
Reliable

You can only pick two.
Ex. Cheap and Fast won't be reliable, just as Reliable and Cheap won't be very fast.

some things you can do for small, but noticable power:

modify exhaust, i.e open exhaust
ecu chip
racing clutch kit
vtec controller
msd ignition kit
octane booster...

i drive a nonvtec SOHC eg hatch with some of those little mods, and i take out integra ls, civic ex, stock 99-00 si everyday. its not always about power

Get ECU chipped and/ or gutt the car.

Take your time, do it right and it will be worth the wait. You get what you pay for bro.

I don't know what all these guys are talking about, cheap power is everywhere. Although Honda tuning is my favorite mag. D-sport has great tech articles. Royal Purple oil, almost 2 whp, you can change the plugs for another 1-2 whp upgrade your wires and cap, and a honda favorite is a test pipe. Honda has a rep for great gas mileage and you don't get that by having a freeflowing exhaust.
