to try and get my ecu to restart ive pulled the 7.5 fuse for 10secs ive disconnected hte battery and everything but everytime it starts right up wiht a check engine light already on.

back again, when you disconnect your battery, leave it disconnected for about 5 min.

what ecu are you running?
OBD(0), OBD(1), OBD(2)?

 

if obd2b i pull the center plug and plug it back in and it resets it takes about 2 seconds or so

 

What ecu do you have? if it is an obd2 you need the comp to reset it. If not I have absoultly no idea what it could be though...

 

Have you fixed the problem already? I did something stupid when I had chipped my ECU and it would throw a code the instant I started my car, even after resetting the ECU.

 

i have a obd1 p28 ecu

 

ive also blown ecu fuse before
after that my wiring harness burnt out
after all that it turned out i had a bad battery

 

So, is it fixed?

 

no it wont reset i was just saying that its had problems before im going to try the battery for 5 mins thing

 

what codes do you get for your CEL? I get codes 41 and 48, after replacing the O2 sensor, i still get CEL. Tried resetting ECU, and still get CEL.....
