Are their any huge ramifications from sucking up unfiltered air? My Comptech intake arm some how managed to get unglued from the intake part so sometimes is lodges loose and my motor is sucking up unfiltered engine air.

 

I wouldnt make a habit of it. Get it fixed before a rock flies up and kills your motor.

 

yea I could understand the rock... but the air and dustish particles itself should not be a big issue?

 

all of it is an issue, the filter is there for a reason, too stop dust, dirt, and all other stuff from getting into your motor. Too much of all that stuff will eventually harm the motor. IMO you should have no problems for a bit but get it fixed ASAP.

 

filterless though vtec is like whoa... lol

 

Back a long time ago when I had ITBs on my ITR, I would drive around for months without any sort of filtration system.
