Hey everyone,

its a nice mild day and i go out to my car for it to just sit there and crank over continuously and almost start but not...

so i got a boost, tried bump starting it, reset the ecu, check the fluids, i can smell the gas!, checked the wiring, and nothing,...just sits there and continues to crank

the ecu appears to be throwing codes, it flashes 1 long, 1 long, 2 short

any ideas on what it may be doing??? i am a novice to reading codes on the PR3 ecu...

by the way this is a OBD-0 B16A and it has worked flawlessly...now this

please help as i am stuck at work!!!

check your cap and rotor in your distributor.

 

yeah im waiting on my buddy to bring me tools...and im going to check that

i have also found out how to read the codes properly and it is throwing code 22 = vtec oil pressure switch

any ideas on what to do for this???

 

would not cause a no-start. just no vtec

 

Your not getting spark. Double check the power to the dizzy.
