HELP!!! What transmissions will fit on an f23 accord lx NEED a Quaife diff in my CAR
Just bought a fully built f23 motor from JG and i need to put in a Quaife differetial but they don't make them for the f23 transmission, just the f22. so Javier at JG said to put in a prelude transmission but he said use the h23 trans because it has taller gears than the h22. is this true? What can i do to put a quaife in my car and still have tall gears.
FYI: it is a 900 hp block but we will be putting 650 horses to the wheels@ 33lbs of boost.
so you see why i need a quaife.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!
My engine is literaly sitting in a card board box waiting to get put in. I need a trans so i can order my Quaife diff and put it all in at once
Honda accord lx 1999 5sp trans
What are my options here?

Definitely run the h23... the shorter gears of the H22 will rob you. Unless of course your building a track *****
ya thanks Bro. that's what havier told me too! Will an h23 fit though and what year and model is this h23 trans coming out of? prelude is all i know as far as the model but iis there a certian model like lx or whatever that i should get and what years will fit easy?
And it deffinately is built for the street!!!!!!! and of course i'll be taking it to the track to take $$$$ from all the STI's hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Nope. 92-95 came in 3 models... Base model, Si and VTec. The base model had an F series, Si had the H23, and the VTec had the H22

Thank so much! I love Honda-tech! that is great info and i'm gonna buy one today. I'm, sending in my fuel rail and reg to JG they can start building a custom manifold and throttle body. Ill keep everyone updated as i get farther along. should end up to be a beautiful sight. Thanks everyone

why dont you use an f22 tranny and the lsd. wouldnt the tranny be cheaper and easier to find?
You are a genius. how in the hell did i overlook that!!?
don't anwer that by the way
but i really like that idea because doesn't the f22 have taller gears than the h23?
/also, how much tougher is the h23 than the f22? is this an issue.

is the car a DD?
u looking for performance or this a replacement for a dieing tranny?

Hey
I am new to this. I know very little about about H23. What transmission should I link up with this engine (automatic). I currently drive a ex coupe with f22
, i used to drive an accord with a f23 i loved especailly how it takes off but i wanna upgrade.
If can please help... I am looking for something with torque i guess low-end
