How much horsepower can u get out of the car (k20 engine) with motor mounts,camz, etc.. just straight engine building? without forced induction

 

The most NA hp I have seen was done by Intrinsic Performance Solutions. They made over 300hp NA. But your looking at well over 6k to make that much hp without turning to the dark side.

 

lolz how bout with the engine build with the forced induction?

 

Highest hp A2 that I have seen is 605 hp. Three or four in the low 500's and one that is a completely stock motor at 560hp.

There are quite a few people that I now building their A2 blocks this winter including myself. Should be a couple more that are 550+ hp.

a stock k20a (type S) with 8lbs of boost and a good tune is good for 320 whp , thats dam good for a 2.0 litre engine.No internal mods needed.

You have to remember that the K motor is still slightly new, there's more and more products being made for it everyday. Also, compared to building up a B motor, the K is more expensive. I think that's one major reason why we haven't seen any ungodly power numbers yet. But, it is a better motor (technically speaking). And I think there may be some big dogs out there with more power than what we know, it's just that they've never posted info.
