Car turns over but wont start.. any suggestions (00 civic si)
Well I just put this motor in the car yesterday and last night it fired up just fine. I went out this morning to bleed the brakes and coolant and it wouldnt start..
So far I've replaced:
Ecu
Spark plugs
plug wires
Distributor
I can here the fuel pump prime and when I took the spark plugs out there smelled like gas so I know its getting fuel and I checked to see if its getting spark and it is. I'm not really sure what else to do. Any positive input is appreciated

r u sure it doesnt have diesel in the tank.... check if the spark plugs are getting spark to them..... take out the wire and the plug, then put the plug on the wire put it on metal and crank it to see if it gives like 3 sparks.... it could also be a coil.....

i had the same problem except it was in my honda passport, took it to honda and they replaced a batterie cable and the battery, before that it would crank and not turnover, thought it was alternator check batterie and cables and alternator.
All i can think of.
Best of luck to you!

Also you can unbolt the fuel line to the rail and see if fuel actually comes out just to make sure your engine is getting fuel. Might be a clogged fuel filter.
