Sounds like someone is trying to use a 99-00 harness in a 96-98 ride.

and the cooling fan doesnt turn on..

ive heard that you have to re-pin the green plug does anyone know how to do this help me please

ps the car is 97 hatch and i put a bseries swap and i used a 99-00 si harness

PLug in the green one. It shoulda been pinned right in the conversion. If not redo it.

I dont have a link to the diagram but you can search for it. Just make sure the harness hasnt been mangled with and that wires are the right color and where they should be.

Take out the guage cluster and see if the plugs are pluged into the back of the cluster. Could be easy as that

If you had a diagram then you could see what needed to be done. Since I don't have one, I can't help you. I have always used the 96-98 EX harness on the 96-98 cars and the 99-00 Si on the 99 up models. It keeps everything simple and plug and play.
