Default PIC request please!!!!!!

ok heres what i need.. i need pic of 99-00 civic SI wiring harness and ECU i need to see the ends of the wiring harness and the ecu plug, for some reason my is weird mine only has 2 plugs its weird it doesnt have any signs of cutting or anything like that, i got this when i did a b-series swap into my ek i went obd1 with a jumper harness but its missing that one plug (the one missing form the harness) ill try to post pics later on so you guys can see waht im talking about

Sounds like someone is trying to use a 99-00 harness in a 96-98 ride.

cant find digi-cam will take pics later with phone, or ill borrow another cam

you need a 1996-1998 Civic EX (Manual) Engine Harness you can't go from OBD2B to OBD2A...........

really dont know what exactly are you guys saying.


i cahnged the whole harness to obd2b and im running a conversion harness for obd1 (im using obd1 ecu)

ok on the first pic you can see the conversion harness, thats the obd2b to obd1 conversio harness,


but in the second you can see soo many wires that arent even hook up so do i have a plug missin or something? the car runs fine and everything the only problem is that it doesnt hit vtec, rpm's dont work nor those the miles per hour
and the cooling fan doesnt turn on..

ive heard that you have to re-pin the green plug does anyone know how to do this help me please

ps the car is 97 hatch and i put a bseries swap and i used a 99-00 si harness

great thanks that solves that problem. i thought theres was i mean all thoise wires that dont go any where. but why doesnt my tach or speedometer work?
i heard you have to repin that green plug that controls the interior harness

PLug in the green one. It shoulda been pinned right in the conversion. If not redo it.

I dont have a link to the diagram but you can search for it. Just make sure the harness hasnt been mangled with and that wires are the right color and where they should be.

Take out the guage cluster and see if the plugs are pluged into the back of the cluster. Could be easy as that

on my 00 civic (obd2b to obd1) there is 3 connectors that are plugged up to the harness... not counting the green one, which if for the gauge cluster...

If you had a diagram then you could see what needed to be done. Since I don't have one, I can't help you. I have always used the 96-98 EX harness on the 96-98 cars and the 99-00 Si on the 99 up models. It keeps everything simple and plug and play.
