Default KYB GR-2 shocks, who has em?

Anyone riding on these shocks? I havent decided if I need adjustable shocks to spend the extra $125 on the AGX shocks. Any opinions on the GR-2?

GR2 is like OEM replacement. Get AGX. I'm running AGX now, very good.

i got them with neuspeed sport springs they work out ok however something stiffer would do the job i would rate them slightly better than stock but good for the money if you do want to handle better I would spend a little more and get better to be honest with the prelude being heavy with this set up you definatley will feel some body roll if you need a quick solution to shocks and struts then this is it.

The fronts will blow in months they are not designed to operate at the height a lowering spring puts them at. They are for OEM replacement only. Get the AGXs I've had them on this Prelude I have now for somewhere between 3-4 years and they are still as good as the day I got them. Well worth the extra duckets.

The GR2's aren't bad, it'd be more of if you're on a budget type setup... if you want ultimate performance, your money would be best spent elsewhere though. Have you looked into getting some Koni's?

yeah but ive heard the AGX is a great shock to, i just dont need adjustable dampening so i thought the GR-2's might be a good alternative, but if they go out in a few months i might as well spend the extra money now and get the agx's. Also the AGX's are about 150 less than koni yellow's

I had agx's alla round till the rear pass blew. So now I got agx in the front and gr2's in the back cause it fit my budget. The gr2s are better than stock, but not as good as the agx's but I had to get wha ti had to at the time. The agxs are easy to change and feel good

did you get a 2" drop out of the springs or does it sit a little lower with the GR-2's?

That's great so you had coilovers and gr2's on your car huh? can you say baja? Are you planning to put rancho shocks on next. YOU DID NOT HAVE COILOVERS THEN YOU HAD CRAP SUCH AS THE FOLLOWING: Ground control (Sorry to break your heart these are not coilovers) OBX racing adjustable sleeves=junk, skunk 2 adjustable sleeve=junk, etc Coilovers have struts that are valved for the spring rates they come with. They are made by company mostly in Japan they usually cost at least $600 for base model **** mostly anything worth having is $800-$3000

Watch out for the cactus!!
