Default 1998 Honda Civic Car won't start?? No spark??

So I went out to my car the other day drove it out to get some food on lunch, came back was sitting in it and suddenly it stalled. So, I get my jumper out since I have a bad habit of leaving my lights on I always carry it with me. Battery was fine car will turn over but won't start.

I replaced:

Fuel pump
Main Relay ( Since it controls fuel pump too )
Replaced my plugs and wires
We checked for spark by putting the spark plug on the wire and setting it on the frame and metal bolts. It would not spark.

So in this we came to the conclusion that it probably was not a fuel issue. I am going to get a WHOLE NEW distributor tomorrow. I need my car running and can't wait to get parts cheap. Some things my car was doing before this happened was a stop in rpms at 4 grand in 5th gear it would randomly doing this. I heard ignition coils can cause the ECU to stop the cars rpms at a certain point if its going bad.

Do you guys think this will fix it?? I'm just wondering if their were any parts that could also cause this problem??

Putting in time is easy.

Just take the dip stick and put it in the number 1 spark plug cylinder and put the car in 5th and slowly let it roll until the piston is at the top.

I just hope thats it and its not ECU, but I would think if an ECU was fucked up. A lot of other things would be going wrong.
