Default Possible Summer Project

Alright I apologize in advance for the length of this thing but Im trying to get some **** sorted out right now. Let me describe my situation and what Im thinking about doing to the best of my ability so you guys can give me the best advice. I own the car in my sig.... it has 80k miles and is in pretty damn good condition loaded all options etc..... I am thinking about putting it up for sale and picking up a civic ex coupe anywhere from 93-to maybe 96... depending... on what kind of a deal i can find. I want to swap in a b18b and boost it. Ill be putting the kit together piece by piece with goals of around 250 whp. Im not even sure what I could get for my car but Ideally i would like to sell mine and use the cash leftover after the civic purchase to buy many of the turbo kit parts almost immediately. I will be losing many creature comforts and i hate to see the prelude go... but i really just want to go fast for relatively cheap.... A huge factor in this decision is I want something to keep me busy all summer. My girlfriend will be in basic training for the air force.. Ill be home for 3 months from school just working constantly... I think taking on a project like this might be a good idea for me to keep my mind off her and keep me busy while im off school... then ultimately have a new ride for the fall! I guess my question is: Is this feasible? I will be doing mostly everything myself.. and i havent really done much besides change oil, put on exhaust, header, intakes, stuff like that... Is this even reasonable with the amount of money ill have left over from selling my car? I understand these are wide wide estimates and there are many many factors (cost of parts, my car's selling price, new car purchase price, how long my labor takes etc.)But is this even possible???

Sure it's possible...depending what your funds are. And I assume this project car will be your daily driver? So I HOPE you build the internals properly or sooner or later, engine goes boom! Overall, it depends how much money you are willing to spend.

I pieced a kit for my 99 si for a little over 1500, you just have to be patient and know as many people as possible to point you toward possible deals. To save money though, buy somthing with the b16 already in there so you dont have to pay for the swap, unless you can do that yourself, but your still overkilling one engine on the deal if you swap it
