i dont know if this will help you guys or not but i remeber hearing my dad talk about using a homemade one back in the 60's on his comet cyclone . He would take a canister and spiral the fuel line inside it then fill it with ice i guess it was good for a few tenths of a second consistantly . there might be more to it that im not remebering its been a while since ive heard about it

One thing you got to remember is these cans are designed for low fuel pressure (ie. carbs).

They use alum. line that is not recomened for the fuel pressure we run in are fuel injected applications.

I have a friend who swears by it on his 406 69 Camaro. However, he doesn't do it for power so much as he does it for consistancy. If you can keep the fuel a consistant temp, that's one less thing you have to worry about when bracket racing.

copper or aluminum will hold, it just has to pass tech. Depending on your track, it could be more trouble than it's worth. What's your setup?

running a 5 speed car, i wouldn't worry about using a cool can for consistancy. 5 speed honda's w/ any power at all are pretty inconcsistant, don't think the can's gonna help much. However if you have an auto car, that runs only a couple hundreds of it's dial in, you can start looking for little things that may be causing it to jump around, like rising fuel temps
