why would you need two fp's? The 255lph fp I have heard supports 400hp.

Would u have to modify fuel lines or u can use factory fuel lines. I'm trying to put a little over 500whp and dont want to put big *** Aeromotive. Please let me know what I have to do to push over 500whp with 255lph pump.

I plan on making 500 + hp for the track, and a friend of mine said that his 255 started to have problems around 450 and I don't want a aeromotive just because its big and loud.

no mods needed, you can make over 500 whp with stock feed line, stock return, stock rail, a 255 pump, but you'll need a good regulator, like aem, or aeromotive, a b&m wont cut it.

What about a fuel pump voltage regulator? Has anyone made 600hwp with the 255hp pump with stock lines and stock fuel pump wiring?

I see a use for two pumps if your running a surge tank setup.

I have seen the "boost a pump"/ similar modules use more voltage to the fuel pump to increase their flow. I would rather buy a bigger high volume pump before increasing voltage though.

some people are using surge tanks in road race or high g situations were fuel may be pulled away from the pickup in the stock tank... it also allows you not to have to sump the tank and run new lines.

given I understand that a single pump can sustain x... this is not a design to increase the volume of fuel being flowed.

to give you an idea of the dual setup's potential, we just tuned a single turbo supra at the shop that put down 770rwhp with dual intank 255s and new dual -6 feed lines, and that wasnt even pushing the pumps.

They did not say it in the thread but every setup I have seen running dual 255 they are side by side running in parrallel, serial would be pointless. For some domestics they have drop in kits that switch to dual walboro intanks with no modification.
This local guy is planning on running 800+ with this dual walboro setup

I would run something like this before long before I would put up with an aeromotive.

there is not enough space for 2 fuel pumps in a honda gas tank

you need more than stock wiring to support a high power intank
