Oil Pump Help!!!!!!!
This weekend I shattered my oil pump and I am looking to replace
. I saw a thred on this topic before but could not find what I was looking for under a search. For one I am running a fully built ls/vtec that's boosted with a gt35r putting down 550hp. I do drive the car on the street on weekends and take take it to the track both. For starters what is the best oil pump to run, ( Aftermarket or OEM ). I would like peoples inputs that are currently running the pumps or have broken different ones. I have heard alot of different inputs, some saying OEM ones are the best and aftermarket ones are overrated and oposite. If OEM one is the best which one should I run? Thanks for the all the help. I will try to post some pics of this destoried pump.
I run a stock damper because I heard it was easier on your stock pump. This is a new set-up so I just ran 10w-30. Is this the wrong thing to do?
