Default Axle-Back Exhaust

This came from a 96-2000 4DR Civic, will it be a direct bolt-on to a 1996 hatch?
(Its a Ractive muffler, I have heard that is a garbage brand, but its stainless steel and was bought from Honda back in the day so it can't be all bad.)

If it came from a 4dr, you will need to shorten the tube to make it fit the 3dr model (unless you like having almost half of your back box out of the back fo the car.

Just take it to your local muffler shop and have them fit it to your coupe

Will the pipe be able to be shortened or will they have to just use my stock pipe and just weld on the muffler?
Because I can get just a muffler cheaper, so if the section of pipe from the axle to the muffler has to be scrapped then there is no point in me picking up this set-up, if that part won't be used.
So does anyone know?
