Default k20a3 in a std

i got a 91 civic hatch std and i bought a k20a3 complete... question is how hard is this gonna be to swap?? i know the ef hasport mounts are like 700... then i have to deal with axles, shifter box, ecu wiring... etc. any feedback would be cool. thanks.

theres a complete thread around here with a k-series going into a rex, search for posts by droppedcrxsi... its sweet.

also i dont think your car is a 92, std's were 88-91... im 100% sure though so dont kill me if im wrong.

id say the biggest hassle aside from wiring would be welding the mount brackets and modifying the engine bay to accept the k20/alternator/stuff and what not.

Do you know how to weld? Do you have access to a LOT of tools? Thats all I have to say....its not easy, almost none of it is bolt in, and your almost certainly gonna have to go aftermarket for motormounts. Also reccomend that you get GOOD front tires, since this is gonna give you more than double the power of whatever D15 you have in there now.

If you like playing with your slow *** 16 second camaro then go right ahead, just don't come cryin' onto a Honda board when you get your *** beat in a race.
