My first downpipe and dump tube finished + a ?
Well its been finished for a while, and someone in FI gave me an excuse to take some pics so here it is.
I was originally planning on heatwrapping everything but now that its been sitting for a month and already looks this bad, i might pull it off and high temp paint it. What do you think?
Why is the first half rusted and the part after the dumptube routes back in not? Its the same piping, maybe the heat from welding cause it??

good job doing it yourself but those welds are very sloppy, looks miged, but not bad for your 1st downpipe, i have seen much shitty then that, not bad tho

I love it, someone commenting on the weld quality when they themselves can't even see that it IS mig'd.
Anyways, looks good. Not sure exactly where you're saying it's not rusted. The only part that I see that is not rusted is the part that looks to have an aluminized coating on it.

You'll see a direct correlation between the amount of time in preparation/fitment and the quality of the piece. keep up the good fab

Very true.
I spend hours doing my stuff, and it fits very well. Since i dont TIG weld the welds dont look the greatest.. But the inside is smooth, good design and fits well.
