Pulls left when accelerating
1992 civic hatch, dx, 5-spd. Anyone have an idea why it pulls left when accelerating? It doesn't pull at all when decelerating. I think my bushings are shot. Which bushings in particular should I check?
Check your outer tierod ends. Most likely the right side is worn out. If they are good then check your lower ball joints, last and least likely the upper ball joints.
Check your tie rod ends ASAP!!! Last summer, my car started pulling to the right when I would accelerate and I had no idea why. Then when i was taking my car around a slight turn I heard a loud crunch and the car stopped. I get out, my wheel was bending inwards. Previous owner did not use proper cotter pins because the bolt came undone and I ended up with a damaged tie rod end that came loose and scratched up the inside of my wheel, a broken axle, and also I had to replace the lower ball joint because the threads on it got stripped
. Do not drive, get it fixed asap.
